Barge World at Shepperton Marina
In the tranquil setting of Barge World at Shepperton Marina, offers a specialist brokerage service focused on the buying and selling of pre-owned wide beam and replica Dutch style barges.

Moorings
Here at Barge World Shepperton Marina, we have over 400 delightful moorings across four basins. With Dutch Barge style craft becoming increasingly popular these days, we have constructed a number of moorings eminently suitable for these long & beamy vessels, currently located within Basins C and D. These moorings are all fully serviced with electricity and water on floating pontoons, designed specifically for the barge style vessel. Alternatively, there are numerous moorings around the grassy banks of the Marina, just right for the narrower canal boats. These fully serviced Premier bankside spots are a popular choice amongst owners.
All our moorings for barge style boats, are within easy reach of car parking and all other services with a comprehensive range of amenities to make your stay comfortable and rewarding.

Barge World is a new focus specifically for barge sales at Shepperton Marina, which is superbly placed for both upper and lower Thames’s cruising. This family-run business has forged a reputation for excellence over the last 40 years and recently committed itself to new Dutch Barge moorings. MARINA OF THE YEAR WINNER!
On Wednesday, 21 September 2022, Lisa Harris (Marina Manager) attended the Marina of the Year Awards, sponsored by Towergate, on the Foredeck stage at Southampton International Boat Show.
For the last few months, the staff have been asking our customers to vote for us in hope that, after coming runner up in 2021, we would win this year. We are very proud to share with you all that Shepperton Marina were announced as Winner of the Inland Category in the awards, 2022!
TYHA's statement:
At the Southampton International Boat Show (Wednesday 21 September) winners of The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) Marina of the Year Awards 2022, sponsored by Towergate Insurance, were revealed on the Foredeck Stage.
TYHA General Manager, Jon White and Chair, Colin Watts, were joined by representatives from many of the 160 plus Gold Anchor accredited marinas from around the world hoping to clinch one of the coveted awards.
“These awards are voted for by berth holders and celebrate the very best marinas both in the UK and overseas and provide a perfect opportunity to recognise those marinas that go above and beyond, offering outstanding quality and service to their berth holders and visitor”, commented Jon White, TYHA, General Manager.
“We are absolutely delighted to see so many people here today, not only hoping to collect an award but to show support for their colleagues across the marina community.”
Six awards were presented at the show, with winners and runners up welcomed up on stage to collect their award.
